Open to all in November 2019, When the city sleeps is a rather chic but very cool establishment, installed in the famous "black house" five minutes walk from the train station and the city center of Agen. Clinging to the southern flank of the hillside of the Hermitage, with direct access to the Canal du Midi and the greenway that borders, the villa surprises with its imposing neo-cone façade nestled in a Mediterranean setting.
All terraces and stairs, the gardens draw and conceal as many intimate spaces for your moments of relaxation. In summer, enjoy the swimming pool overlooking the canal and the city.
The interior is stunning with its art deco decor, mid-century moldings, alcoves, rotunda, staircase and a flop of details that sets it apart. The lounges are decorated in a vintage style mixing art deco spirit, Hollywood regency, and other curiosities. The house, although in town and despite the different vis-à-vis, offers views of the gardens, the Canal du Midi, the city, the surrounding countryside, and the hillsides in the distance.
The rooms, all different and renovated are air-conditioned and all have an en suite bathroom with toilet, bedding Made-in-France, a work area, and many extras to enhance your stay (linen high end, Coffee machine, kettle, shelves, etc ...) .. Decorated with care in a retro and glamorous style with references to the roaring years, or Hollywood 40/50 years. (Even the details of the rooms on the site), they pemettent a stay out of time in Agen, and a totally different experience of the more classic accommodations that one finds here in town.
A great breakfast is included in the rate, it is taken in the rotunda or in the patio arranged according to the season and the weather.
I can not wait to accomodate you, welcome to When the city sleeps, the only gay friendly establishment in Agen!
