The region has a mild and sunny Mediterranean climate. The summer is very hot and dry, and pleasant temperatures in spring and fall.
To visit the region, May and September are ideal times. The temperatures are pleasant and there are fewer tourists. We have 300 days of sunshine per year.
The landscape is varied: we have mountains, gorges, forests, lagoons, beaches and many of the famous vineyards which alternate. There are heritage sites such as the Pont du Gard, the Nîmes arena, the Orange theater and much more. There is so much to see in the historic cities, Orange, Uzès, Avignon, Arles, Nîmes, Montpellier,…. Whose history dates back to the Middle Ages and even to the Roman period.
