We are trying the B&B adventure in order to share good times and also to support our effort to restore its splendor to this residence. We are therefore privatizing the second floor of a bourgeois house from 1850 currently being renovated, converted into a dormitory. It is understood that we only take one reservation for the floor; you will therefore not be "mixed" with other guests on this floor, even if in the near future other rooms will be made available.
You will find on this floor of approximately 65m² a large air-conditioned bedroom (in which one to three beds are available depending on your needs) and a bathroom with shower, toilet and bathtub.
The WiFi (2GB fiber) is quite efficient for teleworking, if necessary.
You can enjoy with us the ground floor (home cinema lounge/dining room currently being renovated, smoking room) and the outdoors of course.
We are forced to clarify here following the many messages received:
we do not practice naturism, we prefer to accept it eventually when the time comes with the people concerned; the outdoors do not lend themselves to it at all at present. We do not practice any form of massage.
We can possibly offer you to join us for an aperitif and dinner, without obligation.
The first restaurant is 5 minutes from the house.
The breakfast included in the price includes tea/coffee; bread; butter and jam.
The best bread, produced 5 minutes away and from local and organic farming, is provided to us on Saturday and stays fresh for a long time. Outside of weekends; we supply ourselves in classic bakeries.
We are not in the habit of eating at lunch, so it will be prepared according to your reservations and anticipated requests.
An inflatable spa is available from summer on the south-facing terrace, and although the work continues during the week, this house will certainly seduce you with its charm!
We are 45 minutes from the Montchanin/Le Creusot TGV station,
15 minutes from the Paray-le-Monial or Génelard TER station.
If necessary, we can organize to pick you up there.
Finally, for sports enthusiasts; Paray-le-Monial, Digoin and Gueugnon have gyms.
In addition, a Whole Body Cryostimulation cabin has been set up in Gueugnon, do not hesitate to book your sessions there, a reduced rate will be offered to you by coming from us.
In the Charolais countryside, there are hardly any LGBTQ+ attractions or places nearby...
That said, you will find many places to visit, as well as good authentic restaurants - including 1 starred: Fréderic Doucet - nearby, and of course the charm of the bocage of this region.
Paray le Monial and its basilica (where the holy virgin is said to have appeared ^^); Charolles and its earthenware factory; the castle of Digoine and its show; among others, are well worth the 10-minute trip!
By pushing a little further, you will also reach the Zooparc du PAL; La Clayette for its castle; the thermal baths of Bourbon-Lancy (and their casino); the stud farms or the abbey of Cluny, among other choices of visits or walks no less interesting.
