A haven of peace in the National Park of Cévennes.
If you long for an isle of peace and freedom in the heart of a protected wild natural aera, come join us in the « Mas du Coupétadou ».
Situated between Pont de Montvert and Génolhac, the « Mas du Coupétadou » is located in the National Park of Cevennes.
You will feel welcomed as friends here...
Our 3 guest rooms are located in an ancient « Mas cévenol » surrounded by a pleasant garden.
Each room is decorated by theme. The decor is authentic: wooden floors, beams, visible stones, exotic or antique furniture.
Breakfast is served on the shaded veranda.
In the evening, dinner is served at the “Hosts’ Table”, under the flowering wisteria or on the covered terrace.
The closest village is Vialas. Vialas is a quaint village located in the National Park of Cévennes, at the feet of the Lozère Mountain. Situated in France's Lozère region, Vialas enjoys a Mediterranean climate, with a geology and vegetation (sweet chestnut trees, pines and holm oak) typical of the South of France.
An hour's drive from the town of Alès, Vialas has a few shops, a library as well as a diverse cultural offering: concerts, roundtable discussions, exhibits, local crafts fairs, etc.
The Mas (ancient farmhouse) is located in a small and secluded hamlet.
Located in the hamlet of Souteyrannes, between the Luech, a tranquil and (at times turbulent) brook, and "Routes des Crêtes" (a scenic road that meanders along the valley ridges), the Mas du Coupétadou is nestled on a sunny hillside with breathtaking views of the valleys.
The garden offers many peaceful spots for relaxing under the fruit trees and enjoying nature's tranquility.
The small brooks flowing in the valleys offer numerous swimming holes. From the house, you can also go on numerous strolls or hikes, by foot or by bicycle. I.G.N. trail maps are provided by your hosts at the Mas du Coupétadou
