Gay Pride Paris is the gay and lesbian meeting of France. A major event since 2001. Many French people spend a long weekend in Paris to celebrate this diversity freely.
More than half a million people parade every year on the street during the lesbian, gay, bi and trans Pride March, in a festive and protesting atmosphere. This event is unique in that it mobilizes massively not to defend an acquired right or challenge a policy, but first to propose a social project based on equality and respect.
The march brings together business associations and institutions, as well as political parties, trade unions and human rights organizations.
