The Berchigrange Garden is located in the Vosges, Lorraine
To install their paradise on the Vosges ridges, the owners of this garden have moved mountains! Handled tons of granite, felled spruce 3000, reported thousands of cubic meters of topsoil.
Hard work 20 years to shape the landscape, sculpting the terrain, tame water, select, search and nurse some 4000 varieties of plants.
At 700 meters high, the old quarry was transformed into an opulent plant paradise: the Garden of Berchigranges, where mix of species from the beaches of the North Sea and the Himalayan plants, in short a merry mishmash plants from regions of 0 to 4000 m altitude.
